Overview

We at MoeGo, Inc. ("MoeGo," "we," "us," or "our") have created this privacy policy ("Privacy Policy") because we take your privacy seriously and we appreciate that you care about how information you provide to us is used and shared. This Privacy Policy relates to the information collection and use practices of MoeGo in connection with our online services, including the MoeGo mobile app ("App"), services available on https://www.moego.pet/ (the "Site"), and any other MoeGo products and services offered through any other websites and mobile applications that direct you to this Privacy Policy (collectively, including the Site and the App, the "Service" or "Services").

This Privacy Policy describes the types of personal information we collect, how we use it, how and when it may be shared, and the rights and choices you have with respect to your information. It also explains how we communicate with you and how you can make requests or submit inquires to us about your information. Our goal is to help you understand all of this, as part of our commitment to maintaining your trust. By accessing, visiting, or using our Services, you acknowledge to and you agree to our Terms of Use. If you are not comfortable with any part of our Privacy Policy or Terms of Use, please discontinue use of the Service or engaging with MoeGo immediately.

We may make changes to this Privacy Policy from time to time. Please review the “Last Updated” legend at the top of this page to determine when this Privacy Policy was last updated. Any changes to this Privacy Policy will become effective on the “Last Updated” date indicated above. If we make material changes to the Privacy Policy, then we will notify users by posting a notice on our website and/or via email prior to such use or by other reasonable means as required by law.

This Privacy Policy does not apply to the personal information we collect from employees, contractors, job applicants, owners, directors, or officers of MoeGo. Please consult the relevant policies with our HR department for details.

Information We Collect About You and How We Collect It

MoeGo collects certain information about you and your use of the Service. This information falls into two primary categories: (1) information you voluntarily provide us, and (2) information we collect from you automatically. The personal information that we collect depends on your interactions with us, and the choices you make.

Information You Voluntarily Provide Us. Personal information that we, or service providers that assist us in providing, maintaining, and operating our Services, may collect from you engage in the following activities:

  1. Account Registration: information relating to the creation of an account on our Site or App, such as, your company name, date of birth, address, phone number, email, credit card information, profile images or photos you choose to upload, and other information about your business, as well as names, alias, and email addresses of authorized individuals on your account.
  2. Customer Information: information relating to your customers that they provide to the Service when they initiate a transaction with you, such as their name, date of birth, signature, address, contact information such as email address and phone number, payment information such as credit card or debit card information if you choose to handle customer billing within our Service. We also collect your contacts' information, such as their name and email address or phone number, if you choose to upload or import it from a device, like by syncing an address book. We may also collect photos and images you upload when you exchange image messages with your customers, or if you optionally choose to upload before and after photos after a pet care service session.
  3. Customer Service: records and copies of your correspondence (including email addresses, and images or photos you choose to upload), if you contact us via email or via online chat feature.
  4. Payment Information: we may collect your payment card, transaction or financial account information, when you purchase our premium feature or set up customer billing feature within our Service. All credit card information is held by MoeGo's payment gateway provider. We integrated third party (for example, Stripe) payments, which may require information about your phone number and apps installed on the device in order to ensure secure and successful payment. We may also collect other personal information at the request of the business with whom you are transacting.
  5. Information Collected Via Authorized Access: if you provide your permission, we may collect and store any personal information you provide while using our Service (e.g. by authorizing us to access to your device's calendar application, camera, and microphone). This may include collection of your precise geolocation upon your permission. If you have previously provided authorization and no longer wish to allow access, you may edit the application settings at the device level.
  6. Professional Page: if you are a business owner or professional in the pet care service industry and would like to use our professional page to connect with industry peers or market to potential clients, we may collect your professional and education information such as your employment history, education history, institution name, major, and certificates obtained.
  7. Web Forms: We may collect your name, email, phone number, company name, job title, and other additional information you choose to provide when you inquire about our products, services, and various programs. If you provide contact information, we may contact you to respond to your inquiries, to learn about your level of interest, or satisfaction with our Services.
  8. Blog and Forums: We may offer publicly accessible blogs and community forums. If you post information on public areas of the Services, that information may be collected and used by MoeGo, other users of the Services, and the public generally. We strongly recommend that you do not post any information through the Services that allows strangers to identify or locate you or that you otherwise do not want to share with the public. To request the removal of your personal information from our blog or community forum, please contact us as described in the “Contact Us” section. You may choose to provide us with your email address if you want to receive updates and subscribe to our blogs.

Information We Automatically Collect. To the extent permitted under applicable law, we may automatically collect certain types of personal information about you when you use the Site or interact with our Services.

  1. Information About Your Use of the Service: when you browse our website, we automatically collect information such as your web request, Internet Protocol ("IP") address, browser type, domain names, referring and exit pages and URLs, pages viewed and the order of these page views, the date and time you access our servers, what information and files have been downloaded.
  2. Device Information: If you access the Service through a mobile device (e.g. a smart phone or tablet), we may be able to identify your mobile devices' operating system and physical location based on your Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and other device settings.
  3. Location Information: When you use our Services, we may infer the generic physical location and geographic regions of your device from your Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and other device settings. For example, your IP address may indicate your general geographic region. You may disable our use of certain location data through your mobile device or web browser privacy settings.

We may use and share Non-Identifiable Data (e.g., non-personal, de-identified information that cannot be used to identify you) for any lawful business purpose without any obligation or accounting to you. When we do so, we will take reasonable measures to ensure that the Non-Identifiable Data is not personally identifiable and cannot later be used to identify you.

How We Use Your Personal Information

We use your information for business and commercial purposes, including in the following ways:

  1. To Provide You Services. We may use your information to provide you any services or products that you request or purchase, for example, to process your payments and communicate with you regarding your purchase.
  2. To Maintain Legal and Regulatory Compliance. Our Services are subject to certain laws and regulations which may require us to process your personal information. For example, we process your personal information to pay our taxes, to fulfill our business obligations, ensure compliance with employment and recruitment laws or as necessary to manage risk as required under applicable law. Without processing your personal information for such purposes, we cannot perform the Services in accordance with our legal and regulatory requirements.
  3. To Enforce Compliance with Our Terms, Agreements and Policies. When you access or use our Services, you are bound to our Terms. To ensure you comply with them, we process your personal information by actively monitoring, investigating, preventing and mitigating any alleged or actual prohibited, illicit or illegal activities on our Services. Subject to the applicable law, we may also process your personal information to investigate, prevent or mitigate violations of our internal terms, agreements or policies and enforce our agreements with third parties and business partners.
  4. To Detect and Prevent Fraud and Security Risks. We may process your personal information to help monitor, prevent and detect fraud and abusive use of our Service, monitor and verify your identity so that unauthorized users do not gain access to your information, enhance system security, and combat spam, malware, malicious activities or other security risks that might result in financial loss.
  5. To Provide Customer Support. We may use your information to provide customer support, respond to your inquiries and fulfill your requests.
  6. To Provide Service-Related Communications. We will send you administrative or account-related information to keep you updated about your account and the Services. Such communications may include information about Privacy Policy updates, confirmations of your account actions or transactions, security updates or tips or other relevant transaction-related information. Service-related communications are not promotional in nature. You are not able to unsubscribe from such communications, otherwise you may miss important developments relating to your account or the Services.
  7. To Provide You Marketing Communications. We may use your information to send you marketing communications that we believe may be of interest to you, such as to send you newsletters. When you no longer wish to receive these marketing messages from us, you can opt out at any time by unsubscribing or following the instructions contained within such messages.
  8. To Research and Develop of Our Services. We may process your personal information and derive analytical and statistical data to better understand the way you use and interact with our Services. For instance, analyzing where, on which types of devices and how our Site is used, how many visitors we receive, and where they click on the Site may help us improve our existing Services and to build new Services.   9. To Personalize Your Experience. We may process your information to personalize your experience. By personalization, we enable you to interact with our Services more easily across platforms and devices. We also use it to remember you in case you re-visit our Site, so we will know if you have already been served with surveys, or (where Site content is undergoing testing) which version of the content you were served.   10. To Facilitate Corporate Acquisitions, Mergers and Transactions. We may process any information regarding your account and your use of our Services as is necessary in the context of corporate acquisitions, mergers, or other corporate transactions.

How We Disclose Your Personal Information

We may disclose your personal information as needed to fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy and as permitted by applicable law. We may share your personal information in the following circumstances:

  1. Within Our Corporate Organization. We may disclose your personal information within our organization, including to our subsidiary and affiliated companies, for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including to provide you with the Service and take actions based on your request, as well as for the purpose of management and analysis.
  2. As Required by Law or to Cooperate with Government Entities. We may access, preserve, and disclose information about you if we believe doing so is required or appropriate to (a) comply with law enforcement requests and legal processes, such as a court order or subpoena; (b) comply with requests from auditors, examiners, government entities, other regulators; (c) respond to your requests; or (d) protect your, our, or others’ rights, property or safety.
  3. With Our Service Providers. We may disclose personal information to our strategic partners and third-party service providers who provide services such as website hosting, geolocation, marketing, data analysis, payment processing services, commercial lending, order fulfillment, information technology and related infrastructure provision, customer service, email delivery, credit card processing, auditing and other similar services. For example, we may disclose your geolocation data with Google Maps to help integrate Google Maps features in our Services. Please note, that we may also allow or enable you to interact with or make arrangements with third-party providers (“Third-Party Providers”) that provide other products and services that enhance or supplement our Services (e.g., payment processing, commercial lending, or accounting products and services) (“Third-Party Products”). A Third-Party Provider may request your personal information directly from you when you interact with such providers or make arrangements for Third-Party Products. We do not provide your personal information directly to Third-Party Providers unless requested by you.   4. With Marketing Partners. We may disclose information to third parties to permit them to send you marketing communications, consistent with your choices. To learn more about your choices and rights regarding marketing communications, please review the “Your Choices and Privacy Rights” section below.
  5. During Business Transactions or Other Asset Transfers. In the event of a merger, acquisition, bankruptcy, or other sale of all or a portion of our assets, any personal information owned or controlled by us may be one of the assets transferred to third parties. We reserve the right, as part of this type of transaction, to transfer or assign personal information and other information we have collected from users of the Services to buyers, service providers, advisors, potential transactional partners or other third parties in connection with the advisors, potential transactional partners or other third parties of a corporate transaction. Other than to the extent ordered by a bankruptcy or other court, the use and disclosure of all transferred user information will be subject to this Privacy Policy. By engaging with us or using our Services, you understand and agree to our assignment or transfer of rights to your personal information.
  6. With Your Consent. We may disclose your personal information with other companies if you give us permission or direct us to disclose your information.

We do not sell or share your personal information or share your personal information with third parties for cross-contextual behavioral or targeted advertising purposes. We may disclose Non-Identifiable Data at our discretion.

Your Privacy Rights and Choices

Depending on where you reside, you may have certain rights and choices with respect to our processing of your personal information. These include:

  1. The right to know/access to access the categories and/or specific pieces of the personal information that we hold about you, including whether that personal information I s sold or disclosed and with whom it was shared.
  2. The right to correct your personal information in our records and systems.
  3. The right to request deletion/erasure of the personal information that we hold about you.
  4. The right to have a copy a copy of the personal information we hold about you in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format.

We will verify your identity in connection with any requests and take steps designed to ensure that only you or your authorized representative and exercise these rights. If you are an authorized agent making a request, we may require and request additional information to verify you are authorized to make the request up to and including proof of power of attorney.

There may be situations where we cannot grant your request. We will inform you if we deny a rights request and will provide an explanation of our actions and the reason(s) for the denial.

We will not restrict or deny you access to our products and services because of the choices you make in connection with your personal information but certain choices may affect our ability to deliver our Services. We will ask for your consent to process your personal information in certain circumstances. You may withdraw your consent at any time; however, withdrawing your consent will not be retroactive and does not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before the withdrawal.

Online Tracking

Our websites do not currently recognize or respond to automated browser signals regarding tracking mechanisms, which may include "Do Not Track" instructions.

California Residents

California Civil Code Section 1798.83 permits consumers that are California residents to request certain information regarding our disclosure of your personal information to third parties for such third parties’ direct marketing. Tracking Technologies and Advertising

We and third parties on our behalf may employ various tracking technologies, such as cookies, web beacons, analytics software and other similar technologies (collectively, "Tracking Technologies" to collect additional personal information automatically as you interact with the Service, that help us to personalize your experience with our Service, and help us better manage content on our Service by informing us what content is effective.

Cookies

When you visit our Site or otherwise interact with the Service, we (or third-party data or ad networks we work with) may send one or more "cookies" to your computer or other devices. Cookies are alphanumeric identifiers stored on your computer through your web browser and are used by most websites to help personalize your web experience. Some cookies may facilitate additional site features for enhanced performance and functionality such as remembering preferences, allowing social interactions, analyzing usage for site optimization, providing custom content, allowing third parties to provide social sharing tools, and serving images or videos from third-party websites. Some features on the Site will not function if you do not allow cookies. We may link the information we store in cookies to any personal information you submit while on our Site. We may use both session ID cookies and persistent cookies. A session ID cookie expires when you close your browser. A persistent cookie remains on your hard drive for an extended period of time. If you do not want MoeGo to deploy cookies in your browser, you can opt out by setting your browser to reject cookies or to notify you when a website tries to set a cookie in your browser software. If you choose to reject cookies, you may still use our Site, but some features on the Site will not function properly.

Strictly Necessary Cookies. These cookies are essential because they enable you to use our Site as you reasonably expect. For example, strictly necessary cookies allow you to access secure areas on our Site and provided necessary security functions. Without these cookies, some Site features cannot be provided. This category of cookies is essential for our Site to work and so they cannot be disabled.

Functional Cookies. We use functional cookies to remember your choices so that we may tailor our Site to provide you with enhanced features and personalized content. For example, these cookies can be used for Live Chat and Client ID remembrance. While these cookies can be disable, this may result in less functionality during your use of our Site.

We use Google Analytics, which uses cookies and other, similar technologies to collect and analyze information about use of the Service and report on activities and trends. This service may also collect information regarding the use of other websites, apps and online resources. Interest-Based Advertising

We and our third-party service providers may use interest advertising technologies when you interact with our Site or App.

  1. Website Browser. Many advertising companies that collect information for interest- based advertising are members of the Digital Advertising Alliance (DAA) or the Network Advertising Initiative (NAI), both of which maintain websites where people can opt out of interest-based advertising from their members. To opt-out of website interest-based advertising provided by each organization's respective participating companies, visit the DAA's opt-out portal available at https://optout.aboutads.info/, or visit the NAI's opt-out portal available at https://optout.networkadvertising.org/? c=1. If you reside in European Economic Area, Switzerland, or the United Kingdom, you may opt-out of online behavioral advertising served by the European Interactive Digital Advertising Alliance’s participating member organizations by visiting youronlinechoices.eu/.
  2. Mobile Application. When you use our App, we or our third-party marketing partners may use one or more of several different identifiers for your mobile device, including Apple Identifier For Advertising (IDFA) or Android Advertising ID (AAID), to target and deliver ads to you in our app or other apps. This means that your device identifier may be accessed by third-party ad networks and used to (a) help manage the number and types of ads you see; (b) track the source of installs related to ads seen in other apps; and (c) identify your interests and behavior and target advertising to you based on those interests and behavior.

Apple requires app developers to ask for permission before they can track your activity across apps or websites, they do not own in order to target advertising to you, measure your actions due to advertising, or to share your information with data brokers. If you previously gave our mobile app permission to track, you can tell our app to stop tracking your activity. On iOS or iPadOS, go to Settings, tap on our app, then tap to turn off Allow Tracking. You can also reset your IDFA from your mobile device’s settings page, which will prevent continued use of existing behavioral data tied to your previous IDFA.

If you have an Android device, and are running Android 12 or above, you can delete your AAID permanently by opening Settings, navigating to Privacy > Ads, tapping “Delete advertising ID,” then tapping it again on the next page to confirm. This will prevent any app on your phone from accessing it in the future. Please note that if you do so, you will still see advertisements, but they will not be tailored to your inferred interests.

You may also access industry-provided opt-out tools, although they are not tailored to our mobile applications. For instance, to opt-out of data collection by the Digital Advertising Alliance’s participating member companies for interest-based advertising across mobile applications, download the DAA’s App Choices mobile application opt-out offering at https://youradchoices.com/appchoices.

Links to Other Websites

Our Service may contain links to third-party websites. We have no control over the privacy practices or the content of these websites or any third-party offering, site, or other products and services used in connection with our Service. The inclusion of a link does not imply endorsement of the linked site or service by us or by our affiliates.

As such, we are not responsible for the collection, usage and disclosure policies and practices (including the data security practices) of other organizations. You should check the applicable third-party privacy policy and terms of use when visiting any other websites.

Data Retention

We will retain your personal information for as long as is reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy or otherwise in compliance with our data retention policies. Certain categories of personal information may be retained for a longer time period when required or permitted by law. For instance, me may retain and use information as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our rights. We will take reasonable steps to delete your personal information if such information no longer serves the purpose for which it was collected, and we are not required to retain it under applicable law.

Security of Your Information

MoeGo maintains reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards designed to maintain the security of your personal information; however, no data transmission over the Internet can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Accordingly, we cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information that you transmit or provide to us, so you do so at your own risk. You are responsible for protecting your password(s) and maintaining the security of your browsers and devices. International Transfer of Personal Information

As a U.S. company that conducts business internationally, we may transfer your personal information between countries other than the country in which you initially provided your personal information. The countries to which we transfer personal information may not guarantee the same level of protection for personal information as the one in which you reside. However, we will handle your personal information in accordance with this Privacy Policy regardless of where your personal information is processed. Children’s Privacy

The Service is not directed to individuals under the age of eighteen (18), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from these individuals. If we determine that a user is under eighteen (18) years of age and has submitted information by way of our website, we will take reasonable measures to delete such information.
