The new reservation flow brings all of it into one connected experience: date/time, pet, service, lodging, care type, add-ons, and feeding/medication context, all in the same flow.
What changed at a glance:
| Workflow area | What you should expect |
|---|---|
| Business and client | The current location is auto-selected in context, with a warning if it differs from the client's preferred location. Client selection remains familiar. |
| Pets and services | Staff can work with one or multiple pets and configure each pet's service information within the same reservation flow. |
| Schedule and lodging | Dates, times, services, and lodging are handled together within the pet's reservation context. |
| Care and additional services | Staff can add care types, feeding and medication instructions, add-ons, and eligible cross-services from the connected flow. |
| Validation | The experience surfaces in-context guidance when required information or service eligibility needs attention. |
A front desk staff member creates a boarding reservation for two pets. In the previous flow, they'd need to configure each pet's dates, room type, and services in separate passes, often discovering a room type wasn't available only after selecting it. In the new flow, staff select the reservation dates first, see only eligible room types for that window, and configure each pet's service and lodging details within the same reservation, without needing to delete and restart if something needs adjusting.
