Manage Appointment - Update History

The Update History feature allows you to view the activity log for an appointment. It helps you track changes and see when actions were performed.

With Update History, you can view:

  • When the appointment was created

  • When the appointment was updated

  • Status changes (such as rescheduled or canceled)

  • Messages sent to customers

  • Changes to pet or service details

  • Actions performed by staff, system, or customer

This feature helps you review the full history of an appointment and understand what updates have been made.

💡 Note: Update History is currently available only on the desktop version.


Access Update History

To view an appointment’s update history:

  1. Go to Calendar and click an appointment card
    (You can also open the appointment from the client profile.)

  2. The appointment drawer will open.

  3. Click the Update History section.

You will see a list of activity records related to that appointment.

What Information Appears in Update History

The Update History log may include actions such as:

  • Appointment created

  • Appointment rescheduled

  • Appointment canceled

  • Pet or service updates

  • Appointment Status changes

  • Automatic messages sent to customers (such as appointment confirmation or review reminders)

Each record shows:

  • Action performed

  • Time of the action

  • Operator (who performed the action)

The time displayed follows your device’s timezone.

Operator Types

The operator shown in Update History depends on who performed the action.

Staff member

If a staff member makes the change, their name will appear as the operator.

Online booking

If the appointment is created through Online Booking, the operator will display:

Client Name (Online Booking)

System

If an action is performed automatically (such as sending an automated message), the operator will appear as: System

Customer

If a client responds to an SMS confirmation message:

  • Reply Y to confirm

  • Reply N to cancel

The operator will appear as: Customer

Reschedule Records

If an appointment is rescheduled, the Update History will display:

  • The original appointment date and time

  • The new appointment date and time

This allows you to easily track scheduling changes.


Frequently Asked Questions

Can I see exactly what details were changed (such as service or price)?

  • Currently, the system shows that the appointment was updated, but it does not display the specific changes.

  • If you need detailed log information, you can contact the MoeGo support team. Please provide:

    • Appointment date and time

    • Client name

I made a change but do not see it in Update History. Why?

  • The Update History log may take a few seconds to update.

  • If you do not see the change immediately, wait a moment and refresh the page to check again.
