Contact a lead via email, SMS & calls

How to send individual or mass messages to leads, make calls using your MoeGo number, and where to find the full communication history for each lead.

You can contact leads directly from their profile in MoeGo β€” by SMS, email, or phone call. Every outbound and inbound message is automatically logged in the lead's activity timeline so your team always has the full history.

Send a message or email to one lead

To contact a lead individually:

  1. Go to Customer Center > Leads Management.

  2. Open the lead's profile.

  3. Click Message to send an SMS, or Email to send an email.

  4. Write your message and send.

Send a mass email or SMS

To contact multiple leads at once:

  1. Go to Customer Center > Leads Management.

  2. Apply filters to narrow down the leads you want to reach.

  3. Select the leads you want to message.

  4. Click Mass email or Mass SMS.

  5. Write your message and send.

πŸ’‘ SMS messaging cost depends on your SMS credit balance and message length.

When to use mass messaging:

  • Following up with leads who haven't responded

  • Reaching out to all leads from a specific source or time period

  • Sending information to leads at a particular lifecycle stage

  • Promotional messaging (only if you have consent)

Call a lead (Beta)

You can call a lead directly from their profile, or log a call you made outside of MoeGo.

If you have MoeGo Calling (Beta):

MoeGo Calling lets you make outbound calls using your MoeGo number directly from the lead profile.

  1. Go to Customer Center > Leads Management.

  2. Open the lead's profile.

  3. Click Call to start the call.

If you don't have MoeGo Calling:

Call the lead using your own phone. When you're done, log the call in MoeGo so the record is saved:

  1. Go to Customer Center > Leads Management.

  2. Open the lead's profile.

  3. Click Log call.

  4. Enter the call outcome, duration, and any notes.

  5. Click Save.

The call record will appear in the lead's activity timeline.

Communication history

Every message, email, and call is automatically logged in the lead's activity timeline β€” inbound and outbound. To review the full history, open the lead's profile and go to the History tab.

This means any staff member who opens the lead can see what's been sent, who sent it, and when β€” so nothing gets missed and no one sends a duplicate follow-up.

Always make sure you have consent before sending promotional messages to leads.
