Grooming Calendar - Waitlist

MoeGo’s Waitlist is a powerful tool that helps you manage appointment requests and fill open slots efficiently. Whether you run a mobile grooming or salon grooming business, the Intelligent Waitlist allows you to:

  • Visualize waitlist requests directly on your calendar or map view

  • Capture client booking requests with flexible preferences

  • Receive real-time scheduling recommendations based on availability

This guide explains how to manage waitlist requests and use the Waitlist Lens to quickly schedule clients when slots become available.


Access the Waitlist from the Grooming Calendar

🖥️ Desktop

To view your waitlist requests:

  1. Go to Calendar

  2. Click the Waitlist button on the left menu

You will see two options:

  • View Request List

  • View on Calendar


View Waitlist Request List (Desktop)

Click View Request List to open the list of waitlist requests.

From the top-right corner, you can switch between care types:

  • Grooming

  • Boarding

  • Daycare

Manage Waitlist Requests

You can search and filter waitlist requests to find the most relevant clients.

Search

Use the search bar to find a request by:

  • Client name

  • Pet name

  • Phone number

Filter Options

You can filter waitlist requests based on:

  • Expected date

  • Expected time

  • Expected staff

  • Client type (New client / Recurring client / Prospect)

  • Service area

  • Created from (All / Online Booking)

  • Request status (Active / Expired)

Sorting Options

You can also sort waitlist requests by:

  • Time added to waitlist (Latest or Oldest)

  • Highest ticket price

Show Available Requests

You can enable Show Available to display requests that have system-recommended appointment slots.

Requests marked in purple as “Available” indicate that MoeGo has identified an appointment slot that matches the waitlist criteria.

When you click a request marked Available, the system will:

  • Display recommended slots at the top

  • Show the recommended appointment block in purple on the calendar.


View Waitlist Recommendations on the Calendar (Waitlist Lens)

The Waitlist Lens allows you to see recommended waitlist placements directly on your calendar.

To access this mode:

  1. Go to Calendar

  2. Click Waitlist

  3. Select View on Calendar

Your calendar will switch to purple Waitlist Mode, where recommended slots appear directly on the calendar.

At the top purple bar, you can choose to display:

  • Show Available

  • Show Unavailable

Available requests are those with system-recommended scheduling slots.

View Waitlist Details

Click a purple waitlist block to open the waitlist details in the right-side drawer.

For mobile grooming businesses, you will also see:

  • Estimated driving time

  • Estimated driving distance between appointments or between the start/end location.

💡 Note:
Driving estimates for waitlist recommendations are calculated by the system and may differ slightly from the driving time shown in Smart Scheduling or the regular calendar driving time & distance display due to technical limitations.


📱 Mobile App

To access the waitlist on the mobile app:

  1. Open Calendar

  2. Tap the + button in the top-right corner

  3. Select View Waitlist

View and Schedule Waitlist Requests (App)

When viewing the waitlist list:

  • Tap Book Now to schedule the request

  • Tap Reschedule Now to move the request to a new slot

You can view detailed request information including:

  • Pet and service information

  • Expected date

  • Valid until date

  • Preferred time

  • Preferred staff

The system will also display recommended appointment slots.

You can:

  • Tap a recommended slot

  • Tap More Suggested Slots

You will then be redirected to the calendar to preview the waitlist block and complete scheduling.

Filter and Sort Waitlist Requests (App)

Tap the Filter button to filter waitlist requests by:

  • Expected date

  • Expected time

  • Expected staff

  • Client type (New / Recurring / Prospect)

  • Service area

  • Created from (All / Online booking)

  • Request status (Active / Expired)

Sorting options include:

  • Time added to waitlist (Latest / Oldest)

  • Highest ticket price

Why am I seeing fewer waitlist requests in Waitlist Lens?

  • The Intelligent Waitlist system shows up to 4 recommended requests per available slot.

  • The selection logic depends on the business type:

    • Mobile Grooming Businesses

      • Recommendations prioritize shorter driving distance and time.

    • Salon Grooming Businesses

      • Requests are prioritized on a first-come-first-served basis, based on when the waitlist request was created.
