Grooming Calendar View - App Overview

The Grooming Calendar in the mobile app is your main workspace for managing daily operations. From the calendar, you can:

  • View staff schedules

  • Manage appointments

  • Add calendar blocks

  • Check or add clients to the waitlist


Navigate to the Grooming Calendar (App)

By default, the Grooming Calendar opens automatically when you log in to the app.

You can also access it by:

  • Tapping Calendar from the right-side menu bar

Note

  • If your account includes Boarding & Daycare modules, the lodging calendar is not available on the mobile app.

  • You can still view boarding or daycare appointments under Appointments, but scheduling and checkout for boarding/daycare are only available on desktop.

Switch Staff Calendar

In the top-right corner, tap the staff name button to switch between staff calendars.

You can:

  • Select a specific staff member

  • Scroll to the bottom of the dropdown list and choose All Staff to display everyone’s schedule.

Switch Calendar Views

You can change the calendar layout using the view selector in the top-right corner.

Available views include:

  • Day View

  • Week View

  • Month View

  • Agenda View

Week View

Week view displays the schedule for the selected week.

At the top of each day, you can see the number of pets (dogs or cats) scheduled.

⚠️ Note:
In Week View, you can only view one staff member at a time due to screen size limitations on the mobile app.

Month View

Month view displays appointments in a monthly calendar format.

You can:

  • View scheduled appointments for each day

  • Display all staff appointments

  • See the number of pets scheduled each day.

Agenda View

Agenda view shows appointments in a vertical list format.

Each appointment entry displays:

  • Assigned staff

  • Appointment details

  • Scheduled time for the selected date

Navigate Dates

At the top of the calendar, you can expand the calendar date picker to select a specific date.

You can also:

  • Tap the left or right arrows to scroll through dates

  • Tap a specific date to jump directly to that schedule.

Staff Schedule Display

In the calendar:

  • Dark grey indicates the staff member is not working

  • Light grey indicates the staff member is scheduled to work

Staff working hours are configured in:

Create Appointments or Blocks

On the calendar, tap any available time slot to open the scheduling options.

You can then choose to:

  • Add a new appointment

  • Add a calendar block

By clicking the + button in the top-right corner, you can quickly access several actions:

  • Add a new appointment

  • Add a new client

  • Add a waitlist request

  • View the waitlist

  • Use Smart Scheduling to find available appointment slots
