Communication - Mass Text

The Mass Text feature allows you to send SMS messages to a selected group of customers at once. This is useful for announcements and reminders, such as:

  • Informing customers about price changes

  • Re-engaging inactive customers

  • Reminding clients who havenโ€™t signed digital agreements

  • Notifying customers about expired vaccinations

  • Sending general business updates

Please note that Mass Text is not a group chat. Each message is delivered privately to individual customers.

Send a Mass Text

๐Ÿ–ฅ๏ธ Desktop

  1. Navigate to Message from the side menu.

  2. Click Mass Text in the top-left corner.

  3. Select Send via SMS.

Select Recipients

Choose the clients you want to send the message to.

You can:

  • Apply filters to select a group of clients, or

  • Manually select individual clients.

Filter Clients

Click All filters in the upper-right corner to customize recipient conditions.

Available filters include:

  • Client status

  • Client type

  • Client tags

  • Pet vaccination status

  • And more

๐Ÿ’ก Note: The mobile app only supports filtering by client category and client tag.

Send the Message

  1. After selecting recipients, click Next Step.

  2. Enter your message in the text box.

  3. Click Send.

SMS Credit Usage

SMS credits are calculated based on:

  • Number of recipients

  • Number of SMS segments required for the message length

Example:
If you send a message that uses 2 SMS segments to 17 clients, the total cost will be:

2 ร— 17 = 34 SMS credits


๐Ÿ“ฑ App

  1. Go to Message from the side menu.

  2. Tap the orange โ€œ+โ€ icon in the top-right corner.

  3. Select Mass Text.

  4. Tap Send Mass Text.

Select Recipients

Apply filters and select the clients you want to message.

โš ๏ธ Note: The mobile app only supports filtering by:

  • Client category

  • Client tags

  1. Tap Send to X recipients at the bottom of the screen.

  2. Enter your message.

  3. Tap Send.


Mass Text History

You can review previously sent mass texts and check their delivery status.

๐Ÿ–ฅ๏ธ Desktop

  1. Go to Message Center.

  2. Select Mass Text.

  3. Click View History.

The overview page includes:

  • Message content

  • Delivery method (SMS)

  • Total recipients

  • Date sent

  • Batch ID

Click a specific record to view detailed delivery information, including:

  • Client name

  • Status (Success / Failed)

  • Date

โš ๏ธ Please note that the system does not display the reason for failed deliveries.

Message Center Visibility

If you already have an open chat with a client in the Message Center, the mass text will appear in that conversation.

If there is no existing chat thread, the mass text will not appear in the Message Center. This prevents mass texts from overwhelming your inbox.

You can always check delivery results in the Mass Text History page.


๐Ÿ“ฑ App

  1. Go to Message.

  2. Tap the orange โ€œ+โ€ icon in the top-right corner.

  3. Select Mass Text.

  4. Tap Mass Message Record.

You will see a list of all mass texts you have sent.

Each record displays:

  • Date and time

  • Message content

  • Recipient list

Tap a record to view detailed information, including:

  • Client name

  • Phone number

  • Date sent

  • Delivery status (Success / Failed)
