Repeat appointments allow you to schedule recurring visits for clients automatically, saving time and avoiding the need to manually create each appointment.
You can create a series of appointments based on:
Repeat Rules (recurring schedule)
Selected Dates (bulk appointment creation)
Types of Repeat Appointments
Repeat on Rules (Recurring Series)
This option creates a true repeat series based on a schedule rule.
You can configure:
Frequency β Repeat every X days, weeks, or months
Repeat on β Select the preferred day of the week
β(Example: Every 4 weeks on Monday)Ends β Choose:
After a certain number of occurrences
On a specific end date
π‘ A repeat series can include up to 100 appointments.
Repeat on Selected Days (Bulk Appointments)
This option allows you to create appointments on specific dates.
You simply select the exact dates from the calendar.
π‘ These appointments are not part of a repeat series.
They are created as individual appointments.
Create a Repeat Appointment Series

You can create repeat appointments from the calendar or an existing appointment.
Steps
Click + Create New Appointment or open an existing appointment.
Hover over the appointment date & time and click the edit icon.
Choose one of the following:
Repeat on Rules
Repeat on Selected Days
Configure the repeat settings.
Click Save.
Next:
Click Preview to review the generated appointments.
Resolve any scheduling conflicts if necessary.
Click Book Now to create the repeat appointments.

Tap the + button and select New Appointment, or open an existing appointment.
Scroll to the Repeat Appointment section.
Choose one of the following options:
Repeat on Rules
Repeat on Selected Days
Repeat with Smart Scheduling
Configure the repeat settings.
Tap Preview the Dates.
Tap Create Appointments.
Preview & Resolve Scheduling Conflicts
Before creating the repeat series, MoeGo allows you to preview the appointments and resolve conflicts.
If conflicts occur, you can resolve them in two ways.
Optimize with Smart Scheduling
Smart Scheduling can automatically adjust appointments to resolve conflicts.
It considers:
Existing appointments
Calendar blocks
Staff working hours
Buffer time
Driving time and distance (for mobile grooming)
Client preferences
You can configure:
Closest available date within a range of 0β7 days before or after
Preferred days of the week
Preferred time of day
Example:
If an appointment is scheduled for March 17 and the range is Β±2 days, Smart Scheduling will search between March 15β19.
π‘ Smart Scheduling optimization is only available when using Repeat on Rules.
Edit Appointments Manually
You can also edit individual appointments in the preview screen.
Click Edit next to an appointment to adjust:
Date
Time
Assigned staff
You will see staff availability in the calendar to help avoid conflicts.
Edit a Repeat Series
Editing a repeat series will create a new repeat rule based on the latest appointment settings.
Finished appointments in the past will not be changed.
However, past appointments that are not marked as finished may still be affected.

Open an appointment in the repeat series.
Hover over the date & time and click the edit icon.
Adjust the repeat settings:
Frequency
Repeat day
End date
Click Preview.
Click Apply to update the series.
π± Mobile App
Open an appointment in the repeat series.
Scroll to Repeat Appointment.
Adjust the end date.
Tap Preview Edited Appointments.
Tap Confirm Change.
π‘ The mobile app currently only allows editing the series end date.
Delete a Repeat Series
You can delete all future appointments in a repeat series.
Finished appointments will not be affected.
π₯οΈ Desktop
Open an appointment in the repeat series.
Hover over the date & time and click the edit icon.
Click Delete Repeat.
Review the list of appointments.
Click Confirm and Delete.
π± Mobile App
Open an appointment in the repeat series.
Scroll to Repeat Appointment.
Tap Delete.
This will remove all unfinished appointments in the series.

Remove individual appointments using the β icon
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I edit repeat rules on the mobile app?
No. Currently, repeat rules can only be edited on desktop.
The mobile app allows you to modify the series end date only.
Why can't I use Smart Scheduling optimization?
Smart Scheduling optimization works only when the appointment includes one staff member.
Why are past appointments being updated when I edit a repeat series?
Past appointments that are not marked as finished may still be modified when the repeat series is updated.
Finished appointments will not be affected.
Can I optimize repeat appointments with Smart Scheduling on the app?
Yes. When creating a repeat appointment on the mobile app, select Repeat with Smart Scheduling.
