Communication - Manage Scheduled Auto Reminder

MoeGo automatically schedules reminders to help keep clients informed and encourage repeat bookings. You can review and manage all upcoming reminders in the Auto Reminders section.

From this section, you can:

  • View scheduled reminders

  • Send reminders immediately

  • Dismiss reminders if needed

  • Navigate to related appointments or client profiles


Access Scheduled Auto Reminders

To check your scheduled reminders:

  1. Navigate to Auto Reminders from the left side menu

  2. Select the reminder type you want to review

Available reminder categories include:

  • Appointment Reminder

  • Rebook Reminder

  • Birthday Reminder

  • Repeat Expiry Reminder

If your business has multiple locations, you can click the location selector next to the reminder title to switch between locations.


Appointment Reminders

The Appointment Reminder section displays reminders scheduled for the next 7 days.

For each reminder, you can view:

  • Recipient Name

  • Appointment Date & Time

  • Status (Scheduled or Sent)

  • Delivery Method (SMS)

  • Reminder Type (1st / 2nd / General Reminder)

  • Scheduled Sending Time

Available Actions

You can manage each reminder using the available actions:

  • Send Now – Send the reminder immediately

  • Dismiss – Cancel the scheduled reminder

  • Go to Appointment – Open the appointment details

To access additional options, click the three-dot menu beside the reminder.


Rebook Reminders

The Rebook Reminder section shows clients who are expected to rebook based on their service frequency.

You will see clients who need to rebook within the next 30 days, including:

  • Client name

  • Expected service date

  • Last appointment date and time

  • Grooming frequency

Available Actions

  • Dismiss – Cancel the scheduled reminder

Lapsed Clients

You can also switch to the Lapsed Clients tab.

This section shows clients whose expected service date has already passed, but who have not yet booked a new appointment.

For each client, the system displays:

  • Overdue status (number of days past the expected service date)

Available Actions

  • Message – Send a message to the client

  • Mark as Inactive – Mark the client as inactive

  • Dismiss – Remove the client from the lapsed client list


Birthday Reminders

The Birthday Reminder section shows pets with birthdays occurring in the next 30 days.

You can review the upcoming birthday reminders and dismiss any message if you do not want it to be sent.


Repeat Expiry Reminders

The Repeat Expiry Reminder section helps identify recurring clients who are running low on scheduled appointments.

For example, a reminder may appear when a client has fewer than 5 upcoming appointments remaining.

Note:
This reminder only applies to clients with repeat series appointments.
Individually scheduled appointments or services repeated by days are not included.

Available Actions

  • Edit – Adjust the threshold number of upcoming appointments

  • Book – Create a new appointment in the repeat series (opens Advanced Booking)

  • Dismiss – Remove the reminder
