Communication - Additional Reminder

The Additional Reminder section allows you to manage automated reminders that are not directly related to appointments.

These reminders help you stay connected with clients and encourage engagement with your services.

Currently, MoeGo supports three additional reminders:

  • Birthday Reminder

  • Rebook Reminder

  • Card on File Reminder

Navigate to Additional Reminder

To manage these reminders:

Go to Settings → Auto Message (Communication) → Additional Reminder

Here you can view and manage all three reminder types.

📱App

To manage these reminders on app:

Birthday Reminder

The Birthday Reminder allows you to send messages to celebrate a pet’s birthday.

You can choose to send the reminder:

  • On the pet’s birthday

  • 1 day before the pet’s birthday

You can also customize the SMS or email template for the birthday message.

Tap Birthday Reminder to manage the reminder settings.

You can:

  • Turn the reminder on or off

  • Adjust Send by (when the reminder should be sent)

  • Set the Send at time

Tap Template to edit the message content for the birthday reminder.

View Upcoming Birthday Reminders (Desktop)

Click View list for next 30 days to see which pets have birthdays coming up.

From this list, you can also dismiss scheduled messages if needed.


Rebook Reminder

The Rebook Reminder automatically reminds clients to schedule their next appointment based on their grooming frequency.

This helps maintain regular appointments and encourages repeat bookings.

Card on File Reminder

The Card on File Reminder is available if you have MoeGo Pay enabled.

This reminder is sent when:

  • A client receives a Card on File request link

  • But has not completed saving their card

Setup Card on File Reminder

  1. Go to Card on File Reminder

  2. Turn the reminder ON

  3. Choose when the reminder should be sent

You can schedule the reminder to send 1–20 hours after the original request is sent.

Example:
If the reminder is set to 3 hours, the client will receive a reminder 3 hours after the card request, if they have not yet submitted their card information.

Tap Card on file Reminder to manage the reminder settings.

You can:

  • Turn the reminder on or off

  • Adjust When to send

Tap Template to edit the message content for the birthday reminder.


Frequently Asked Questions

How long is the Card on File request link valid?

  • The Card on File request link expires 24 hours after it is sent.

  • You can adjust the reminder timing to follow up with clients who have not yet completed the card submission.
