This article explains how pet parents access the portal and what you can share with them to get them started.
Your portal link
Your portal is accessible through your business's online booking URL. It looks like this: booking.moego.pet/ol/book?name=YourBusinessName
To get the link:
Go to Online booking > Settings > Overview > Book now link > Copy link.
You can share this link anywhere your clients might look β your website, Google Business profile, social media, or inside a confirmation message.
π Note: There is no separate link for the portal itself. Clients always enter through the booking URL and log in from there.
How clients log in
Pet parents log in using the phone number that is already on file in your MoeGo client list.
Here's what the process looks like for them:
They open your booking URL in a browser on any device.
They enter their phone number.
MoeGo sends them a one-time verification code by SMS.
They enter the code and are taken into their portal.
π Note: Clients must have a registered phone number in your MoeGo client list to log in. If a client enters a number not in your system, they will be taken through the new client booking flow instead of directly into the portal.
New vs. returning clients
The portal experience depends on whether the client already exists in your system:
Client type | What happens |
Existing client | Logs in with their phone number and goes directly into their portal |
New client | Completes the online booking flow first (fills in client and pet details, submits a booking request). Once their request is submitted, they can access the portal. |
