Share Pet Parent Portal (App) with your clients

How to share the portal app with pet parents so they can log in and access their account anytime.

This article explains what to share with clients and how they log in.

Step 1: Get business invitation code

Go to Settings > Integration > Pet Parent App > Copy.

This is an exclusive code to invite your clients and let them explore the enhanced features of the MoeGo Pet Parent app.

No worries, the code is not case-sensitive.

Step 2: Share the MoeGo pet parent app

If your client prefers using an app, or if they are still using the older MoeGo pet parent app, share the new MoeGo pet parent app download links.

You can share these download links directly with your clients via text, email, or your social media profiles:

💡 Please ensure you download the latest version of app with tag "New".

💡 Tip: If a client is using the older MoeGo pet parent app and sees a prompt to download the new app, ask them to follow the prompt and sign in to the new MoeGo pet parent app with their existing MoeGo account.

MoeGo pet parent app login

Clients using the app should:

  1. Download the MoeGo Pet Parent App from the App Store or Google Play

  2. Open the app to enter invitation code

  3. Enter the phone number registered in your MoeGo system

  4. Receive a one-time SMS verification code and enter it to sign in

  5. Their appointments, pet profiles, and account history load automatically

Legacy pet parent app migration

MoeGo is sunsetting the legacy pet parent app and transitioning all users to the new MoeGo Pet Parent App.

What's changing

The older MoeGo pet parent app (released before 2025) is being retired. It no longer receives updates, and compatibility issues on newer Android devices have made it unreliable for many users.

All clients are being moved to the new MoeGo Pet Parent App, which covers all the same core functionality — bookings, pet profiles, and account management — and is actively maintained.

⚠️ Your clients' data is not affected.

Their appointment history, pet profiles, and account information are fully preserved — clients simply log in with the same phone number in the new app.

What your clients will see

Clients still on the old app will see a prompt inside the app asking them to download the new MoeGo Pet Parent App.

When clients see this prompt, they should:

  1. Tap the link or download button in the prompt, or search for "MoeGo: for pet parent (new)" in their App Store or Google Play

  2. Download and open the new MoeGo Pet Parent App

  3. Sign in with their existing phone number

  4. Their full history — appointments, pets, and account — loads automatically

What to tell clients who ask

Q: "Why is my app showing a popup to download a new one?"

A: We upgraded the pet parent app. The version you're on is being retired — downloading the new one only takes a minute and all your history is already there.

Q: "Will I lose my appointment history or pet info?"

A: No — everything carries over automatically. Just log in with your same phone number.

Q: "Why can't I keep using the old app?"

A: The old app isn't being updated anymore and has compatibility issues on newer phones. The new app is more reliable and gets ongoing improvements.

Q: "My app just crashes — I can't see the popup at all."

A: This is a known issue on some newer Android phones. Download the new MoeGo app directly using the link above — you don't need to open the old app to switch.
