An Alert Note is a special type of appointment note designed to highlight important information for your team.
When an alert note is added to an appointment, a red exclamation icon (!) appears on the appointment card, making it easy to spot.
You can view the alert note by:
Hovering over the icon on desktop
Tapping the icon on the mobile app
Add an Alert Note When Creating an Appointment
π₯οΈ Desktop
To add an alert note during appointment creation:
Open the New Appointment booking page.
Enter your message in the Alert Note text box.
Click Book Now to create the appointment.
The appointment will be saved with the alert note attached.
Carry-over Behavior
If a previous appointment already contains an alert note, it will automatically carry over to the new appointment.
If you edit the note during booking:
The new note will apply to future appointments
The old note remains on previous appointments

To add an alert note in the mobile app:
Open the appointment booking page.
Tap the Alert Note text box.
Enter the note and tap Confirm.
Tap Add to create the appointment.
Add or Edit Alert Notes on Existing Appointments

To add or edit an alert note on an existing appointment:
Click the appointment card on the calendar.
Edit the Alert Note field.
Save the changes.
Once updated, the new alert note will carry over to future appointments created for the client.

To edit an alert note in the app:
Go to Calendar
Tap the appointment
Tap the Alert Note field
Edit the note and tap Save
Where Alert Notes Appear
Alert notes appear directly on the appointment card.

Hover over the icon to view the note.
If Pop-up View is enabled in the calendar:
Hover over the appointment card
The alert icon will appear in the top-right corner of the pop-up
Hover over the icon to read the note.

Tap the red exclamation icon on the appointment card
The alert note will appear instantly.
Important Notes
Alert notes are only visible on appointments.
They do not appear in the client profile.
To ensure the note carries over to future appointments, it must be added before creating the new appointment.

However, you can edit the note at any time.
Can clients see alert notes?
No. Alert notes are internal notes for your business only and are not visible to clients.
