Manage Appointment - Client & Pet Notes

You can add Client Notes and Pet Notes directly from an appointment to record important information about the client or their pets.

These notes help your team keep track of special instructions, behaviors, or preferences for future visits.

You can also view and manage previous notes from both the appointment and the client profile.

Add and View Client & Pet Notes

View Client Notes

  1. Open the appointment drawer from the calendar.

  2. Hover over the note icon next to the client name.

A pop-up window will display the client notes.

From the pop-up, you can:

  • Click View All to see the full list of client notes.

  • Click Edit to open the Comments & Notes section and update the notes.

View Pet Notes

You can view pet notes in the same way.

  1. Open the appointment drawer.

  2. Hover over the note icon next to the pet name.

A pop-up window will display the pet notes.

From the pop-up, you can:

  • Click View All to view all notes for that pet.

  • Click Edit to go to the Comments & Notes section and update the notes.


Method 1: Add Notes from an Appointment

  1. Click an appointment card on the calendar.

  2. The appointment drawer will open.

  3. Click Comments & Notes.

  4. Select either:

    • Pet Notes

    • Client Notes

Pet Notes

Under the Pet Notes tab:

  1. Click the note box to enter a new note.

  2. Click Save to store the note.

If the appointment includes multiple pets, you can switch between pets by clicking the pet name above the note box.

Each pet can have its own notes.

Manage Existing Pet Notes

Below the note box, you can view previous pet notes.

Hover over a note to:

  • Pin to top for easier visibility

  • Edit the note

  • Delete the note

Client Notes

Under the Client Notes tab:

  1. Enter the note in the note box.

  2. Click Save.

Below the note box, you can view and manage previous client notes.

Hover over a note to:

  • Edit the note

  • Delete the note


Method 2: Add Notes from the Client or Pet Profile

You can also manage notes from the client profile.

Client Notes

  1. Go to Clients & Pets

  2. Open the client profile

  3. Go to Client Details

  4. Add or manage Client Notes

Pet Notes

  1. Go to Clients & Pets

  2. Open the client profile

  3. Select the Pet section

  4. Add or manage Pet Notes

You can add or view client and pet notes from the appointment details.

Add Notes from Appointment

  1. Open the appointment details.

  2. Tap the pet name to open the pet detail page.

Under the Client & Pet Notes section, you can:

  • Switch between Owner and pets

  • Enter notes in the note box

  • Tap Save to store the note.

You can also view previous notes in the same section.

Tapping a history note will copy the note to your clipboard.

Manage Notes from the Client & Pet Notes Page

You can also tap Client & Pet Notes to open the dedicated notes page.

From there you can:

  • Switch between Owner and each pet

  • Add new notes

  • Edit existing notes

For pet notes, you can also:

  • Pin a note to the top for quick reference.
